<image:title>Blog - Herb Waters - There’s nothing quite so sweet as the first gulp of water after working in the garden with the sweet summer sun shining down on you. Fresh herbs are a simple way to elevate your cooling drink (and enjoy the fruits of your garden labor!). Fresh aromatic herbs infuse their volatile oils into the water, making it even more cooling than plain water would be.</image:title>
<image:caption>While the physical constituents are beneficial, fresh herbs also help structure and charge the water making it more moistening. For folks who struggle with dehydration because they find the taste of plain water boring, this makes staying hydrated easier. Children love harvesting from the garden and drinking their herb water! Some of my favorites are peppermint, tulsi, lemon balm, catnip, and fennel. I snip off pieces of the plant a little shorter than the jar or pitcher I’m using, and then pop them right in! No need to destem anything, keeping the stem makes it easy to pour without straining anything. Fill with water, completely covering your yummy green herbs and then refrigerate. You can keep refilling your jar or pitcher. I’ve found that if I keep the herbs covered with water and the jar in the fridge, these can easily last 1-2 weeks, continually being topped off. Using a ½ gallon mason jar is a great because you can put a lid on it, but your favorite glass pitcher is perfect too. We’d love to hear what herb combinations you end up enjoying!</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - Self-Connection and Stagnation - Self-connection is a human right and a primal way of existing. It’s a fluctuating and ever shifting experience. There is no one right way to be. To do this self-work is radical and herbs can be supportive throughout the process. This discussion is scratching the surface when it comes to self-connectedness. If it feels overwhelming to do alone, working with a clinical herbalist is a great choice.</image:title>
